About Bergen Fire

Charles Ammirato founded Bergen Fire Equipment & Service Co. in Hackensack, NJ, in 1946.

His grandsons Chris, John, and the late Richard Rodgers worked alongside him as apprentices, gaining firsthand experience in the industry. As Charles grew older, they took over the business, carrying on his legacy of excellence and dedication.
