About Bergen Fire

Charles Ammirato started Bergen Fire Equipment and Services in Hackensack, NJ in 1946. 

​

His grandsons Chris, John and the late Richard Rodgers worked alongside him and as apprentices in the business, learning the ins and outs and eventually inheriting Bergen Fire once Charles had grown too old to work.

Today, the business remains in the family with Chris serving as President and John as Vice President. Together with Chris' sons, Steven and Michael plus a team of industry technicians, Bergen Fire continues to proudly and professionally serve New Jersey.
